General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Data protection declaration

Declaration on the obligation to inform

We are especially concerned with protecting your personal data. So we process your data on the exclusive basis of statutory provisions (GDPR and TKG (Telecommunications Act) 2003). This data privacy notice will inform you about the most important aspects of data processing related to our website.

Contacting us:
If you email us or send a contact form through the website, the data you provide will be stored for six months to help us process your request and answer follow-up questions. We will not forward these data without your consent.

Cookies:
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files which are placed on your end device by your browser. They cause no damage.

We use cookies to make our services more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser during your next visit.

If you wish to prevent this, you can adjust your browser to inform you when cookies are being placed and to allow them to be placed only on a case-by-case basis.

Deactivating cookies can limit our website’s functionality.

Google Signals Extension to Google Analytics
As an additional function to Google Analytics, we use "Google Signals" on this website. If you have activated personalized ads in your Google account and have linked your device with which you visit our website to your Google account, Google can analyze your usage behavior across devices (cross-device tracking). For example, Google can see how users search for products on a website on a smartphone and later return to complete purchases on a tablet or laptop. The Google Signals extension also provides us with additional demographic data and data on the interests of our website visitors for even more targeted online advertising campaigns, which, however, are anonymous to us. If you want to stop Google's cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalized Advertising" function in the settings of your Google Account.  For more information, please visit: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155154?hl=en&ref_topic=11583829&sjid=6726979475871235225-EU  For more information about Google Signals, please visit the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=en&sjid=6726979475871235225-EU#zippy=%2Cthemen-in-diesem-artikel%2Cin-this-article

Web analysis:
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service "Google Analytics", a web analysis service from Google Inc. („Google“). To that end, cookies are used which allow us to analyse how you use our website. The information this generates will be transmitted to the provider’s server and stored there.

You can prevent this by adjusting your browser settings so that no cookies are stored.

We have concluded an appropriate contract for commissioned data processing with the provider.

The data processing is based on the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG (Telecommunications Act), as well as Art. 6 (1) a (consent), f (legitimate interest), or both, of the GDPR.

Our concern as defined by GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our service and our internet presence. Since we value our users' privacy, user data are pseudonymised.

The user data will be retained for a period of 38 months.

Your rights:
You are fundamentally entitled to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection laws or your claims under those laws are otherwise being violated, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
