The workshop covers the following areas: avalanches, Alpine risks, risk management and of course deep powder snow, fundamental parts of off piste skiing fun. The many dangers skiers and snowboarders need to be aware of when undertaking off piste tours.
For years, SNOWHOW and their team of experienced mountain and ski guides have been sharing general precautionary measures and strategies. Digital tools come in very handy. With the aid of the SNOWHOW Freeride App riders can measure the avalanche hazard ratings in relation to the slopes incline and can adjust their behaviour accordingly. At the free SNOWHOW workshops, the mountain and ski guides inform participants about general avalanche awareness and the usefulness of digital apparatuses in mountain sports.
