- a bird’s nest swing

Tip: The leisurely circular hike becomes even more fun with our treasure map. You will find all the play stations and best spots on it, such as our spectacular viewing platforms. The kids can collect stamps at each station and there is a small surprise present from just four stamps. You can pick up the map and present at the valley station, your accommodation or in the Alpbachtal tourist offices.DIscovery map
Buggy-friendly loop trail on the Reither Kogel
After the excitement of the Enchanted Forest, the circular hiking trail to the Reither Kogel offers you all the chance to wind down.
Past the haunted marsh, you begin the approximately 1.5 hour hike to the summit. The partly paved roads and gravel paths are ideal for giving your little ones their first summit experience. After you have passed the "giant's bench", viewing platforms await you with wonderful panoramas of the Alps. The path also leads you to our popular photo frame, perfect for capturing family memories of the Alpbachtal.
Good to know: There are no mountain huts to stop at for refreshments along the trail, but you will find several picnic areas with tables and benches. You can then look forward to a hearty meal at Liftcafé Heisn at the valley station. While you relax on the lovely sun terrace, the kids can let off any remaining steam in the children's playground.Family hike on the Reither Kogel
